Shadow Child founded One For The Nerds in 2019, to help people develop their music and start to build a plan for it. The Food Music label boss has so far had a career spanning almost 20 years and as Dave Spoon, held a residency on BBC Radio 1 and had 3 UK Chart hits including co-producing a number 1 with KDA.

After re-inventing as Shadow Child in 2012, the demand for remixes and production went through the roof with Simon always drawing heavily on his roots in Jungle, House and Rave, and a current residency on Kool FM follows a 9 year slot on Rinse FM cemented his place on the specials radio airwaves, too.

 

With so much under his belt, it's now that he's proudly chosen to draw on a background in Music Lecturing and tie it together with his profile as a versatile and dynamic producer, and use it to motivate and assist emerging artists.
